ITANAGAR, June 16: The health condition of elderly woman, aged about 75, found by the Army alone in dense jungle in Lathao area of Namsai district recently, is totally stable and improving fast, Namsai district hospital senior medical officer Dr S K Singh told this daily on Tuesday.

The Army after rescuing had brought her to the district hospital for her treatment as was highlighted in this daily on June 17 edition under the headline – Humanity gasps for survival in Arunachal’s Aspirational district.

She had reportedly survived for about 15 days in a very pitiable condition with only one umbrella to support.

However, another source from the district told this daily that she could not tell anything about her near and dear ones nor anyone could be identified so far though Namsai ADC had coordinated in her rescue.
